Therapeutic Specialist / Sales Representative – HIV / Region: Central Switzerland
Region: Central Switzerland
Role Purpose
TheTherapeutic Specialist – HIV (Central Switzerland)is responsible fordrivingoptimalpatient outcomes by deliveringhigh‑quality, compliant, andvalue‑basedengagementwith healthcare professionals across a defined HIV territory.
The role focuses onscientific excellence, strong account ownership, and disciplined executionin alignment with Gilead’s virology strategy, local priorities, and treatment guidelines.
The Therapeutic Specialist acts as atrusted scientific and strategic partnerto customers, supportingappropriate use,long‑termadoption, and differentiation of Gilead’s HIV portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Scientific Exchange
1. Build andmaintainstrong,trust‑basedrelationships withinfectious disease specialists, HIV centers,hospital‑basedandoffice‑basedphysicians, and other relevant stakeholders in Central Switzerland.
2. Deliverhigh‑quality, compliant scientific exchangeon HIV disease, clinical data, treatment guidelines, and Gilead’s HIV portfolio.
3. Tailor engagements to customer needs, patient populations, and account priorities whilemaintainingscientific depth and credibility.
4. Position Gilead as along‑termpartner in HIV care, beyond individual products.
Account Ownership & Territory Management
5. Own and actively manage a definedCentral Switzerland HIV territory, including key account responsibility.
6. Develop, implement, and executerobust account and territory plansaligned with the national virology strategy.
7. Identifyunmet medical and treatment needs within accounts and translate insights into impactful actions.
8. Drive sustainable performance by prioritizing theright accounts, right stakeholders, and right activities.
Strategy Execution &Cross‑FunctionalCollaboration
9. Execute national and regional HIV strategies with high quality and consistency.
10. Collaborate closely withMedical, Marketing, Market Access, and othercross‑functionalpartnersto ensure integrated andpatient‑centricexecution.
11. Contribute field insights to support strategy refinement, brand development, and continuous improvement.
12. Support implementation of campaigns, guideline updates, and educational initiatives in the field.

13. Conduct all activities in strict accordance withGilead policies, Swiss regulations, and ethical standards.
14. Demonstrate accountability foraccuratedocumentation, CRM usage, and insight capture.

16. Strong understanding ofHIV disease area, treatment landscape, and clinical practice.

Qualifications & Experience
22. University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field.
23. Proven experience in apharmaceutical field role, ideally in HIV, Virology, Specialty Care, orhospital‑basedsettings.
24. Good understanding of theSwiss healthcare system, hospital environment, and regional dynamics.
25. Strong command ofGerman, with good working knowledge ofEnglish(French an asset depending on customer mix).
26. Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Switzerland and represent Gilead at relevant national and international congresses and scientific events
