We are seeking a skilled IT Application Specialist and Endpoints Manager. You will be responsible for the strategic oversight, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications and endpoint infrastructure across the organization. This is a critical, hands-on leadership role requiring a strong background in IT systems, cross-functional collaboration, and end-user enablement.
You will serve as the go-to expert for enterprise application delivery, endpoint security, and fleet management, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across digital touchpoints.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in endpoint or application management leadership.
* Proven experience managing enterprise applications in a manufacturing or telecommunications environment.
* Expertise with tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM), ServiceNow, JAMF, VMware Workspace ONE, etc.
* Deep understanding of endpoint security, patching, and compliance frameworks.
* Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to business leaders.
* Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft 365 Certified or CISSP a strong plus.
Job Responsibilities
* Application Management
* Lead deployment, configuration, and lifecycle support for IT applications.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify gaps, and implement scalable application solutions.
* Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met with external vendors and internal teams.
* Manage application upgrades, patching, and change control procedures in coordination with cybersecurity and compliance teams.
* Endpoint Strategy & Oversight
* Design and implement best-in-class endpoint management frameworks (Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile, IoT devices) using MDM/UEM platforms (e.g., Intune, JAMF, SCCM, etc.).
* Optimize performance, security, and compliance of all company-managed endpoints.
* Automate provisioning, monitoring, and decommissioning workflows to ensure operational efficiency.
* Team Leadership & Collaboration
* Mentor and guide a cross-functional team of analysts, engineers, and technicians.
* Act as a bridge between IT, operations, manufacturing, and compliance teams to ensure seamless user experience and system performance.
* Provide Tier 3 escalation support for endpoint and application incidents.
* Security, Compliance & Governance
* Implement endpoint security policies aligned with ISO/NIST/industry standards.
* Partner with InfoSec to ensure data protection, vulnerability remediation, and access controls are rigorously enforced.
* Maintain audit readiness and contribute to risk assessment initiatives.
* Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Identify process inefficiencies and technology gaps; champion automation and AI-driven optimization where feasible.
