Objective of job

The Sales & Product Manager drives and optimizes sales performance across the smart agent network in Switzerland. The role involves close collaboration with 13 agents and daily support of smart sales experts to ensure smooth sales processes, target achievement, and consistent customer experiences. It combines strategic and operational responsibilities, including sales planning, retail support, and compliance with brand standards. The position also acts as a key link between the field and central teams on all product-related topics. By aligning sales and product efforts, the role contributes directly to smart’s commercial success in Switzerland.

Task Description:

* Sales Performance Monitoring: Continuous tracking of sales KPIs for retailers and smart experts; analysis of leads and test drives
* Retailer Support & Visits: Regular on-site visits and meetings across Switzerland; support for smart experts during the sales and leasing process
* Sales Initiatives & Target Setting: Develop tailored sales-boosting initiatives and negotiate annual sales targets with partners
* Sales Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to defined sales processes and CI-compliant communication throughout the retail network
* Promotions & Marketing Support: Assist retailers with marketing activities and independently implement promotions with Finance & Marketing
* Communication of Product News: Act as main point of contact for product updates and news across the retailer network
* Financing Products & Residual Value Alignment: Evaluate new financing options and coordinate with Used Car team to maintain competitive residual values
* Participation in Product Management Meetings: Active involvement in internal product strategy discussions and alignment
* Creation of Product Materials: Develop targeted materials for smart experts to support product knowledge and communication
* Product Feedback & Issue Resolution: Collect and report product feedback; collaborate on improvement proposals and solutions

Qualifications:

Education

University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a Equivalent professional experience in the automotive or B2B sector

Professional Experience

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive sales, retail management, product management is a plus
* Proven track record in working with retail partners or dealer networks
* Familiarity with structured sales and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
* Experience in automotive industry

Knowledge / Functional Expertise

* Strong understanding of sales KPIs, target management, and performance monitoring
* Solid knowledge of automotive products, pricing structures, and financing models (incl. leasing, residual values)
* Ability to translate product and market feedback into actionable improvements
* Experience in coordinating with marketing, finance, and used car departments
* Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) is a plus.
* Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
* You are a true team player, like to laugh and can focus on achieving targets at the same time.
* You have a structured working mode and have no problems working in a complex project with changing priorities and tasks.
* You have a passion for electromobility
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with external partners
* Strong organizational and project management capabilities
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
* Proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong service orientation
* Analytical thinking combined with solution-oriented execution
* Fluent in German, French and English; Italian is a strong asset
