Angular Developer / Frontend Engineer – Avaloq Platform

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Angular Developer with strong expertise in Avaloq Front Platform and modern front-end technologies to build and enhance enterprise banking applications.

The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of hands‑on experience across Angular ecosystem and integrated platforms, with a solid understanding of security frameworks (IAM, WAF) and backend integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Angular (Angular Material)
• Work extensively on Avaloq Front Platform for banking application development
• Implement responsive UI components using TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx
• Integrate applications with backend services using Java and Oracle SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, DevOps, security)
• Ensure secure application design using IAM and WAF standards
• Customize and integrate with Liferay portal where applicable
• Optimize performance, maintainability, and scalability of front-end solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
• Follow Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the following:
• Angular (including Angular Material)
• Avaloq Front Platform
• TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx
• IAM (Identity and Access Management)
• WAF (Web Application Firewall)
• Liferay
• Oracle SQL
• Java (basic to intermediate level for integration)

Tools & Technologies (Required Exposure)

• Version Control: Git (Bitbucket)
• CI/CD: Jenkins
• Containerization & Deployment: Docker, OpenShift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services domain (Avaloq ecosystem preferred)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience with API integrations (RESTful services)
• Knowledge of secure coding practices
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
