In this role, you will oversee the procurement activities related to the Raw materials category. The Category Manager will be directly involved in daily activities and projects with the cross functional team and suppliers. This role is fixed term till April 2027.
How you will create a beautiful impact:
1. Develop strong relationship with the cross functional team, own factory and suppliers, to be able to support the operational business needs and ensure availability.
2. Own the tendering process - running supplier biddings, RFI/RFPs & evaluating results for a supplier decision from a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) perspective.
3. Plan and initiate activities aiming to cost optimization and KPI improvement, according to priorities and targets.
4. Discuss and negotiate contracts with stakeholders and critical partners.
5. Review current supply set up and propose solutions for its optimization.
6. Maintain and update ERP system in relation to procurement information.
7. Contribute to the cross functional processes set up and optimization.
8. Ensure all activities are conducted within the frame given by internal and external compliance guidelines.
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:
9. Higher degree in procurement, engineering, logistics or equivalent.
10. Experience in procurement, preferably in an international environment and similar categories.
11. Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word), preferably SAP R/3 (MM module).
12. Analytical, structured and result-driven while having the ability to work cross-functionally.
13. Good understanding of Supply Chain dynamics.
14. Can-do and go-get attitude, entrepreneurial way of thinking and the ability to adapt to dynamic environment.
