PpbDescription /b /p /p :pbThe opportunity /b /ppJoin our Dry Transformer Engineering team and play a pivotal role in the development of advanced transformer technologies that elevate safety, efficiency, and sustainability across critical power networks. /ppIn this position, you will collaborate with cross‑functional partners — including RD, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain — to translate complex customer requirements into reliable, manufacturable engineering solutions. /ppbr/bHow you'll make an impact /b /plipConduct structural analysis by hand calculations and finite element simulations on electrical machines for a variety of load cases (e.g. lifting, seismic, short circuit, shock, fatigue etc.) /p /lilipPerform experimental test for the validation of finite element models through comparison with experimental results /p /lilipConduct experimental testing campaign for the diagnostic of structure-borne and air-borne noise of electrical equipment /p /lilipEnsure that all structural designs complie with relevant industry codes, standards and regulations /p /lilipPrepare detailed structural reports to be delivered to our customers /p /lilipAssist the design engineers in the development of transformer and reactors structural components /p /lilipSupport other departments in preparing for customer technical meetings and design reviews /p /lipbr/bYour background /b /plipMaster’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field /p /lilipProficiency with numerical and analytical calculation software such as ANSYS, nCode, Fluent, MATLAB /p /lilipKnowledge of relevant building codes (Eurocode) and regulations /p /lilipExperience with noise and vibration measurements and relevant data post-processing /p /lilipWork experience in the transformer industry as well as knowledge of transformer manufacturing process, assembly procedures and best practices is a plus /p /lilipExperience with CAD software such as CREO and Inventor is an advantage /p /lilipAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written /p /lilipAbility to work effectively both individually and in a team /p /lipbr/bMore about us /b /ppbr/Our flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow. /pppbQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
