Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of an international and interdisciplinary research project, focusing on developing cutting-edge multimodal AI approaches to enhance large language models with features like factuality, interpretability, soundness, and guidance.
* Develop innovative multimodal AI methods to improve large language models
* Implement and evaluate high-quality AI approaches in a real-world medical use case
* Collaborate with domain experts from University Hospital Zurich to analyze patient-specific multimodal medical data
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, applicants should have:
* A recent Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical/scientific field, with focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence
* Strong interest in conversational multimodal AI, AI explainability, and AI in healthcare
* Proficiency in software development (ideally Python) and familiarity with deep learning frameworks and tools like PyTorch
