Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. This role is focused on pricing analytics and delivering actionable insights to drive strategic pricing decisions. Dashboarding and process automation will be minor aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and provide strategic pricing recommendations
Perform statistical analyses to support business decisions
Present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Economics, or a related discipline
Experience: 3–5 years in a data analyst or similar analytics role, ideally within manufacturing or pricing analytics
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis (including SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, aggregate functions, etc.)
Experience with at least one statistical programming language, such as R or Python, for advanced analytics and modeling
Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI )
Ability to apply statistical methods and pricing models to real-world business questions
Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities
