 
        
        The Executive Housekeeper will lead the housekeeping department at the 5 star superior hotel in Lucerne, ensuring top-level cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, spa, and facilities. This person manages a team of about 12 housekeeping staff, coordinates with external suppliers, and reports directly to hotel leadership. It's a senior, leadership role within the hotel's operations team.
Key Responsibilities
 * Team Management: Scheduling, supervising, training, and motivating a housekeeping team of 12 staff.
 * Quality Control: Guaranteeing 5-star cleanliness standards across all rooms, common areas, spa, and external buildings.
 * Meetings: Participating in daily operational meetings and monthly leadership meetings.
 * Training: Providing in-house training for the housekeeping staff to maintain high service standards.
 * Laundry Coordination: Overseeing cooperation with an external laundry service.
 * Inventory & Budgeting: Managing housekeeping supplies, purchasing, stock, and department budget.
 * Floral & Plant Care: Liaising with external florists for flower arrangements and ensuring care of plants in guest areas.
 * Duty Shifts: Taking part in weekly manager-on-duty rotations (helping oversee the whole property when assigned).
Candidate Profile
 * Education: Completed training in housekeeping or hospitality (luxury/higher-end hotel experience is expected).
 * Experience: Several years of proven success in a similar executive/leadership role in 4- or 5-star hotels.
 * Leadership: Strong management skills with the ability to inspire, train, and oversee a multicultural team.
 * Skills/Traits: Flexible, independent, resilient under pressure, with excellent manners and a professional appearance.
 * Languages: Fluent German and English are essential; other languages are an advantage.
 * Extras: Additional training or certifications in leadership/management are considered a plus.
What to Look for in CVs
