Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Engineer / Project Manager for the development of high‑performance miniature circuit breakers. The role is based onsite and reports to the R&D Manager Critical Power and the R&D Platform Owner High Performance MCB's.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate tasking of employees from other departments to investigate problems, develop solutions, and make recommendations.
* Analyze technical and economic aspects of proposed solutions to support decision‑making.
* Identify and execute tasks to improve operations, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
* Develop, plan, implement, and coordinate recommendations for studies to promote innovation.
* Represent the organization at international meetings.
* Interact with customers to resolve key technical issues and develop appropriate action plans.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience as a development engineer or design engineer.
* Strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems of low‑voltage products, design of mechanical and electrical interfaces, construction of plastic and metal parts, and manual and automated assembly processes.
* Good understanding of project management methodologies with proven experience.
* Proficiency with CAD software, preferably Solidworks.
* Strong written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
* Experience working with global suppliers, manufacturing and engineering resources.
