Accountant in a SME - Start: As soon as possible, Try & Hire (6 months of mission and then permanent contract) Duration: Full-time, 100% Are you an accountant with strong management control knowledge, looking to develop your expertise in a versatile and autonomous role? We are recruiting someone to join a SME X in French-speaking Switzerland where you can apply your skills and grow in a supportive environment. The role is part of a transition period with the current person in charge of the position, who is retiring. A training period is planned to allow you to gradually take over the entire scope of the position and gain complete mastery of the activities, as you will be the sole person in this role and will report directly to the management. You will be responsible for accounting and financial management, but you will also have the opportunity to get involved in other areas (HR, insurance, etc.). This is therefore an ideal opportunity for a young professional wanting to develop a global vision of management tasks. Specifically, you will have the chance to:- Accounting & Treasury: manage creditors and debtors, ensure bookkeeping, monitor payments, and prepare financial reports.- Taxes & Insurance: participate in tax issues and ensure proper monitoring.- Reception: organize the reception area, welcome calls and visitors, and maintain contact with external partners.- Human Resources: assist in payroll processing and social security matters, and monitor personnel files (this task will soon be handled by an external partner).- Internal & Marketing: occasionally participate in events and marketing projects.We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting (or equivalent). A successful first experience in accounting in a SME in Switzerland is required, ideally in an industrial environment. You should be autonomous, rigorous, able to take on responsibilities, and have good prioritization skills in French, both oral and written. This position is based on-site (no remote work).
