At our Renens site, we are looking to strengthen our Western Substations department with a person ready to take on new challenges as a BIM Coordinator.Your missionAs a BIM Coordinator, you are responsible for BIM production on electrical substation construction projects. This includes high-voltage equipment, HV cables, earthing networks, buildings, metal structures, and civil engineering. You ensure the overall consistency and quality of BIM models, from disciplinary models to the federated model. In this capacity, you define, in collaboration with the BIM Manager, and implement BIM methods, ensure the compliance of deliverables with client requirements, and actively participate in resolving technical interfaces between disciplines (internal and external models). You work in close synergy with BIM modelers, the BIM manager, engineers, project managers, and project management to ensure reliable, validated, and usable models, while respecting deadlines, BIM standards, and client requirements. Occasional travel in Switzerland, or even abroad, may be required as part of your duties.Your profileHolder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in engineering or an equivalent qualification, you possess solid BIM skills and confirmed experience in BIM. Mastery of Revit, Recap, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Navisworks (or equivalents), Inventor, and Recap software is essential, as is in-depth knowledge of Autodesk ACC, including Building SMART. Rigorous, structured, and methodical, you demonstrate a strong sense of quality and responsibility. Appreciating teamwork, you also know how to demonstrate autonomy and proactivity in solving complex technical problems. You are comfortable leading BIM coordination meetings with various internal and external stakeholders. Client-oriented and committed, you are dedicated to the reliability of BIM deliverables and the respect of project commitments.
