Ph3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the implementation and execution of the annual compliance testing plan as approved and concurred with businesses. /li liConduct and oversee compliance testing, monitoring, and quality assurance activities across assigned business areas. /li liIdentify regulatory and control gaps, assess root causes, and provide practical recommendations to improve business processes and strengthen control environments. /li liLead testing kick‑off meetings, develop detailed testing programs, templates and questionnaires, and coordinate information and data collection from testing subjects. /li liPerform testing analysis, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure high‑quality working papers and testing evidence are maintained. /li liDraft clear, accurate, and concise testing reports for management and stakeholders. /li liAssist the team in reviewing testing workpapers, findings, and final reports prior to release. /li liEnsure all testing activities and deliverables are completed accurately and on time. /li liContribute to the preparation of management presentations and compliance‑related training materials, as required. /li liResearch and monitor relevant regulations by reviewing regulatory issuances, bulletins, and other authoritative sources. /li liMaintain strong working relationships with regulators, internal stakeholders and business partners through consistent communication and timely resolution of issues. /li liCoordinate operational activities to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. /li liEstablish, maintain, and periodically review Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Process Narratives, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they remain current and effective. /li liTake charge of or provide support for process improvement initiatives and compliance‑related projects. /li liLead and nurture the team by promoting collaboration, professionalism and a strong performance culture. /li liDrive and monitor team productivity and efficiency against agreed targets. /li liSupport the continuing personal and professional development of team members through training and certification programs and performance management. /li liProvide timely and constructive feedback to the manager. /li liMotivate team members to stretch beyond expectations. /li liSupport the implementation and monitoring of team projects and strategic initiatives aligned with the Testing CoE’s objectives. /li liSupport workforce and capacity planning to ensure business continuity. /li liAssist in managing financial resources, including budget planning, forecasting and expense scheduling. /li liParticipate in initiatives to enhance team resilience, scalability and operational efficiency. /li liOther roles and responsibilities in support of the team/company goals. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul li2–4 years of strong background in internal or external audit, or experience with compliance testing and risk and controls. Knowledge of KYC and EDD is a plus. /li liAt least 1 year of leadership experience, with proven ability to manage, develop and motivate a team. /li liCollege/University degree and/or equivalent experience in Accounting, Legal, Finance, Business or related fields. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liRelevant certifications such as CPA or equivalent. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills. /li liProven leadership capability that involves coaching and performance management. /li liStrong knowledge in the financial services industry including insurance and/or banking. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions. /li liQuick learner, detail oriented, with proven ability to manage dynamic tasks simultaneously. /li liGood interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptability with a strong awareness and understanding of cultural diversity. /li liTakes initiative to make difficult trade‑offs when faced with conflicting demands, rapidly changing events and high‑priority deadlines. /li liIdentifies strategic issues and raises questions to help businesses explore and address challenges. /li liLeverages technology, tools and resources to drive process improvement and efficiency. /li liCapable to collaborate with and manage stakeholders effectively. /li /ul h3Equal Employment Opportunity Statement /h3 pManulife is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
