We are currently looking for the Head of Strategic Accounts, reporting into the Global Head Sales & Relationship Management, Asset Management.
The Asset Management Sales & Relationship Management team within Clearstream Fund Distribution is responsible for the global coverage of the Asset Manager segment, with team members in Zurich, Frankfurt, London, Luxembourg, Singapore and Hong Kong. The coverage includes ~450 Asset Managers, ranging from global bulge bracket firms to local champions, across asset classes including alternatives. Within the overall team, the Strategic Accounts unit is covering the global large and complex accounts. At the same time, we are the gateway to Clearstream's 4 D's (Dealing, Distribution, Data, Digital) facilitating holistic introductions for Asset Managers to the full range of Clearstream Fund Services.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management: Lead a team of 6 senior relationship managers that cover the largest Asset Management accounts on global basis, based in Zurich, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Hong Kong and Singapore
2. P&L responsibility with mandate to actively develop client relationships on senior level, establishing and driving strategic dialogue and expand joint opportunity set
3. Contract negotiations: oversee the (re)negotiation of contracts, including strategic pricing aspects. Close interaction with the Business Development unit, to jointly work on onboarding new strategic accounts and move from prospect to existing account coverage
4. Develop and implement commercial strategy for key accounts, in close interaction with our distributor coverage team to ensure joint value proposition & growth trajectory of the platform globally
5. Represent Fund Centre and Clearstream Fund Services 4D offering, including active approach towards expanding relationships, e.g., related to migration to digital solutions
6. Ensure state of the art servicing as first point of contact to navigate the Clearstream Fund Services ecosystem related both to products and operational questions
7. Ensure targeted connectivity with key accounts with targeted representation at key industry events, flagship events
8. Ensure targeted connectivity with capability teams, especially in Zurich and Luxembourg
Our Requirements
9. 15+ years of experience servicing B2B business partners, with proven commercial network and expertise in asset management space
10. Proven expertise in business building, contract negotiation and client relationship management, including strong communication skills, on a strategic and senior level
11. Proven track record in leading and coaching senior team members
12. Fluency in German and/ or English. Additional language skills of advantage
13. General knowledge of Asset Management and Fund Platform/Distribution business
14. Excellent client and service orientation
15. Result-oriented with problem-solving and analytical skills. Well-organized, accurate, proactive, conscientious, and resilient
16. Good regulatory background of fund and ETF distribution and/or data services is a plus
17. University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT or comparable education
