Role Overview To support our Advanced Materials division, we are seeking a Sales Representative who will develop, manage, and maximize volume and profitability within our existing customer base and newly acquired accounts in the Coatings & Construction market. The position will require travelling up to 50% of the time visiting customers often based in Germany and France .
The role ensures that all customer requirements are identified and addressed within our organization, with follow-up and implementation driven by the Account Manager. This position offers the opportunity to take full ownership of client relationships and recommend the most profitable strategies for the business. It is a permanent, full-time, home-based role covering key markets in Central and Northern Europe.

Role Responsibilities As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing Coating & Construction (C&C) customer accounts
Focusing on acquiring new business in the C&C market
Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within new and existing customers
Establishing strong relationships to achieve sales targets
Collaborating with the technical team to identify customer requirements
Driving the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closing
Maximizing sales and account profitability
Gathering market, customer, and competitor insights to inform internal strategy
Providing sales forecasts and market data to Sales and Marketing management
Presenting business cases to senior managers
Liaising with internal teams: Technology, Technical Support, Customer Service, Credit Control, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain
Participating in cross-functional projects and ensuring internal communication across departments
Ensuring all activities comply with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
Experience and Competencies We are looking for :
Experience with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in an international environment. Experience and knowledge of the coatings and construction markets is a strong asset.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in chemical or materials engineering.
Fluent in German and English (written & verbal), French would be a great asset
Willingness to travel and work effectively in a remote environment
Mandatory driving license
Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills
Exceptional project management capabilities
Excellent technical and commercial negotiation skills with a sales-hunting mindset
Solid technical knowledge in coatings and construction markets
Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, compelling messages
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
