Ph3Description /h3 pThe core purpose of the Welder is to support the project by executing 7018 Stick welding of galvanized and steel parts. The Welder will use proper equipment and follow all safety and site procedures while working on site. /p h3Specific Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepares and lays out materials for cutting and welding /li liMaintains and makes repairs to welding all equipment /li liIdentify shortages in material and equipment /li li7018 Stick welding, including the following: /li liCreate quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols) /li liInspect welds for accuracy /li liPrepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting steel/galvanized parts /li liCleans and preps all welds for Painting /li liResponsible for the proper packaging, identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location /li liEnsure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use /li liPerforms first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum High School diploma or G.E.D. /li liAWS Certification /li liMinimum of 1 years welding experience /li liThorough knowledge of the standard tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of the trade /li liThorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of welding, steam fitting, and insulation trades /li liAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel of other departments /liliAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to work from sketches, diagrams, blueprints, and broken parts /li liAbility to communicate clearly and concisely /li liSkill in the use and care of tools and equipment used on work assignments /li liConstruction knowledge; high energy level; professionalism /li /ul h3Position Information /h3 pFull Time position; hourly with benefits /p pWork Schedule: 45+ hours per week.
