Position Overview
Accurately posts all incoming financial transactions/payments into the EPM system.
Essential Functions
* Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers through prompt response and courteous communication.
* Research accounts and post all incoming transactions into the EPM system within 48 hours of receipt of the data, following internal controls to ensure proper posting and write-off protocols.
* Balance and close all batches timely and accurately.
* Utilize proper ANSI codes when posting payments to ensure accurate reporting.
* Maintain assigned work queues timely and accurately.
* Post and research PLBs timely and accurately.
* Research, validate and process insurance overpayments.
* Validate and process all refund checks from the Refund Clerk.
Other
* Participates in professional development activities and attends staff and committee meetings as required.
* Assist team members as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Information: $21- $25/hour, depending on experience
Requirements
* 1+ Years of AR and/or payment posting experience in a medical office or hospital.
* Excellent 10-key skills.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to maintain quality control standards.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Detail oriented and organized.
* Ability to communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.
* High School Diploma or GED.
Salary Description: $21-$25/hour
