Job description
In this role, you will support the development of a long-term, audit-ready system to manage complex IT asset data. You will design and maintain data pipelines, develop ETL processes, and model inventory data based on the Common Information Model (CIM). Your work will also involve integrating data sources via platforms like MuleSoft, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements
We're looking for a data engineer with strong expertise in Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) and technical system integration. You should have a strong foundation in data modeling, PL/SQL, Airflow, and containerized solutions. Familiarity with telecom or large-scale infrastructure inventory is a plus.
Required Skills
* Proven experience in data engineering and data modeling
* Strong scripting skills: Python, Perl, others
* Expertise in SACM systems (e.g., Microfocus Asset Manager, Peregrine Asset Center)
* In-depth knowledge of Common Information Model (CIM)
* Proficiency in Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
* Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and PL/SQL
* Hands-on experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms
* Familiarity with iKube 2.0, Kubernetes, or other container technologies
* Strong understanding of ETL tooling, inventory data modeling, and data reconciliation
* Basic Anchor Modeling knowledge
* Collaborative mindset, problem-solving skills, attention to detail
Nice to Have
* Experience with global cloud infrastructure and service inventorization
* Integration development expertise on Salesforce MuleSoft
* Leadership in expert communities related to target technologies
