We are actively seeking a dynamic Senior Product Manager - Beach Volleyball to own the beach product end-to-end as we define, launch, and scale the program. The objective of this role is to define the product, make the day-to-day decisions that move it forward, and drive alignment across commercial, marketing, operations, digital, and legal.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership
* Define and own the beach volleyball product — event format, fan experience, digital touch points, content, and commercial integration — and keep it coherent as the program evolves.
* Maintain the product roadmap and decision log; proactively resolve ambiguities before they become blockers.
* Write product briefs, requirements, and frameworks that work stream leads can act on independently.
Product Marketing
* Develop and own the product marketing strategy for the beach tour — positioning, key messages, and go-to-market narrative for each audience (fans, host cities, sponsors, broadcast partners).
* Work closely with the Marketing team to translate product vision into campaign briefs, launch assets, and activation plans.
* Partner with the Product team on feature prioritization for digital and fan-facing touch points, ensuring marketing and product are aligned on timing and messaging.
* Define the value proposition for each stakeholder segment and ensure consistency across all materials and channels.
* Support the development of sales and partner-facing materials in collaboration with the commercial team.
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Drive alignment across commercial, marketing, operations, and digital teams — making calls at the working level and escalating only what genuinely requires the COO.
* Lead working sessions, set agendas, and hold teams to decisions and timelines.
* Prepare sharp, decision-ready briefings for leadership.
Host City & Commercial Framework (Near-Term)
* Own product requirements in the host city process — define what the tour needs from a host city and evaluate applications against those criteria.
* Coordinate across Legal, Finance, and external partners to move hosting contracts and commercial terms forward.
* Define and document the commercial inventory framework (ticketing, merch, local sponsorship) as open decisions are resolved.
Digital & Content Product
* Partner with the digital team on ticketing platform integration, OTT/streaming, and on-site content production for YouTube — ensuring the digital product matches the brand and fan experience vision.
* Work with the digital and distribution team to scope and brief for the creator/content program.
Tracking & Accountability
* Maintain the master program tracker — milestones, risks, open items, and decisions.
* Spot blockers early, own the solution, and elevate with a recommendation when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
* 7+ years in product management or a senior program/business development role, with meaningful experience in sports, media, entertainment, or live events.
* Demonstrated ability to own a product or initiative end-to-end — not just manage a work stream, but define what success looks like and make the decisions to get there.
* Experience in product marketing — positioning, go-to-market, and cross-functional campaign execution.
* Strong commercial instincts; comfortable working with revenue models, partner frameworks, and contractual terms.
* Fluency in English; additional languages a genuine plus.
* Background working with international sports federations, rights holders, or PE-backed sports ventures.
* Familiarity with the beach volleyball or broader volleyball ecosystem is a plus.
Soft skills
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority in an international, multi-stakeholder environment.
* Excellent communication skills — concise on paper, credible in the room.
* Willing to travel up to 20%
