Overview For our client based in Corsier-sur-Vevey, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Specialist for an 8-month assignment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical part of pharmaceutical operations while driving continuous improvement across the warehouse.
Responsibilities Goods Reception : Verify accuracy of incoming shipments, conduct inspections, and document discrepancies or damage.
Sampling : Perform material sampling to meet quality standards and maintain traceable records.
Storage Management : Organize raw material storage, optimize space, and enhance inventory control systems.
Order Picking : Accurately pick and transfer materials to Labs and Production areas, ensuring order completeness.
Shipping & Logistics : Prepare and pack shipments in compliance with regulations, coordinating with carriers for timely delivery.
Waste Management : Oversee waste disposal and recycling, focusing on reducing waste and improving sustainability practices.
Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement Adhere to all safety protocols, maintaining a culture of safety across the warehouse and promoting improvements in safety practices where applicable.
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with GMP standards while identifying opportunities for improvement in the workspace’s safety and efficiency.
Manage all documentation in Cara and ensure accurate record-keeping, implementing process improvements for better documentation flow and compliance tracking.
Your profile Federal diploma in logistics or equivalent
Strong experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and quality control with a focus on process improvement.
Proactive approach to optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and documentation.
