About the project:
Are you an Oracle database expert? Join us! We’re looking for a Database Administrator for our Swiss client in the banking sector. You’ll be responsible for managing, administering, and optimizing Oracle databases. If you're open to relocating and working onsite in Switzerland at the client’s headquarters – send us your resume!
With us, you will:
* Manage and administer Oracle databases
* Monitor performance and optimize database operations
* Implement and manage security procedures
* Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
* Create technical documentation and maintain backups
* Upgrade and migrate databases to newer Oracle versions
* Perform migrations to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
What we’re looking for:
* At least 5 years of experience in Oracle database administration
* Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
* Practical knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM
* Familiarity with tools for monitoring and performance tuning (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager)
* A good understanding of Unix/Linux environments
* Shell scripting skills
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Git
* Familiarity with CI/CD practices
* Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)
* Readiness to relocate to Switzerland for the duration of the project
Bonus points for:
* Experience with MSSQL or PostgreSQL administration
* Knowledge of Exadata and RAC environments
