PpSystem Development (SD) Department – Development Engineer /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliPlan and execute the work packages within the area of responsibility, including reporting and escalating issues to management. /liliServe as subject matter expert for an assigned area of responsibility. /liliProvide guidance and support to team members. /liliGenerate required documentation, procedures, and technical reports. /liliPrepare and deliver presentations of project results to team and management. /liliDesign and execute experiments in the biosafety levels S1 and S2 laboratory. /liliCreate Test Cases based on Product Requirements. /liliExecute Test Cases, analyze the results, and create the respective regulatory documents. /liliTrack issues and verify bug fixes/anomalies. /liliTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. /liliDocument and maintain software functionality. /liliCoordinate efforts with other functional areas to accomplish tasks: Hardware, Software, Consumables and Assay Development. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliDegree in a relevant life science discipline (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biomedical informatics, engineering related to life sciences) or corresponding job experience. /liliInterest in resolving technical problems and interdisciplinary teamwork. /liliExperience and willingness to work in a highly regulated industry and labs with biosafety levels S1 and S2. /liliFamiliarity with or strong interest in software and engineering applications and tools. /liliEnthusiastic team player with good communication and collaboration skills. /liliSolution-oriented, autonomous, and proactive working style. /liliProven experience in laboratory diagnostics and/or service support, as well as supporting hardware and software, are additional assets. /liliWorking knowledge of English (written and spoken) and German a strong asset. /li /ulpRoche is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
