Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the entire warehouse area. You will lead the team in the day-to-day process, ensure efficient warehouse processes and ensure a smooth flow of goods across all interfaces. They drive continuous improvement and play a key role in developing employees and ensuring quality and budget compliance.
* Management and development of the warehouse team, including annual skills reviews and role‑specific training.
* Manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations and monitor all material flows (inbound, warehouse, outbound, internal) as well as warehouse equipment.
* Optimization of warehouse processes.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and continuous improvement actions.
* Execute inventory and budget responsibilities, including quarterly commodity counts, annual complete inventory, required reporting and annual budgeting.
Qualifications For The Role
* Completed basic vocational training in the logistics sector (logistics specialist EFZ) and further training in logistics.
* Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics and in a management position.
* Experience in reporting tasks.
* Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of written and spoken English.
* Very good knowledge of ERP, SAP and MS Office.
* Possession of a forklift driver’s license SUVA‑compliant, valid at the place of use.
* Flexible, communicative, team‑oriented and resilient personality who knows how to motivate and encourage employees.
