Are you a technically sharp accountant with a passion for the complexities of global treasury? We are looking for a Treasury Accountant to join our Zurich-based team. In this pivotal global role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and financial reporting of our treasury entity, serving as a vital link between our Front Office and global group companies.
This is a high-visibility position reporting directly to the Head of Accounting (Switzerland) and the Controller (Netherlands). After an initial training period, you will be expected to manage your responsibilities with full autonomy.
What You Will Do
* Treasury Administration: Manage the full accounting cycle for Randstad Finance GmbH, focusing on intercompany loans, financial current accounts, and interest usage fees.
* Global Reporting: Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including complex intercompany matching and multi-currency revaluations.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary contact for group companies regarding their intercompany financial positions and confirm financial transactions with banks and third parties.
* Compliance & Audit: Prepare annual statutory accounts and collaborate directly with external auditors (PWC) and tax consultants (KPMG).
* Forecasting: Support the financial health of the entity through monthly forecasting and budget analysis.
Who You Are (Must-Have Qualifications)
* The Expert: 4–5 years of accounting experience in an international environment, preferably within a multinational treasury department.
* The Analyst: Advanced Excel skills are essential ; you should be highly proficient with complex formulas and macros.
* The Communicator: Fluent in English (written and verbal) is a must for this global role.
* Treasury Logic: You have a deep understanding of intercompany dynamics, interest calculations, and multi-currency environments.
* Agile Mindset: You possess a "hands-on" mentality and the ability to pivot priorities in a fast-paced global setting.
Nice-to-Haves
* Previous experience with Workday or Tagetik (highly regarded, but training will be provided for the right technical expert).
* Professional proficiency in German .
* Proven experience in independently managing the books for a small entity or specialized department.
