Job Description
* Analyze technical specifications, interfaces, and documentation
* Build mathematical models and perform structural and mechanical simulations and optimizations using MSC NASTRAN, Altair Hyperworks (Optistruct), or Abaqus & NX Siemens
* Conduct static and dynamic strength analyses for lightweight structures
* Support correlation and validation activities for static and dynamic tests
* Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations (in English)
* Present analysis results and participate in technical reviews and meetings
* Contribute to improving internal methods, processes, and standardization within the analysis department
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor calculation activities, ensuring quality and timelines are met
About The Customer
Our client is a leading company in the aerospace and engineering sector, known for its innovation and precision in developing lightweight structures and high-performance systems. To strengthen their engineering team, we are looking for a Junior Analysis Engineer who will support the development and optimization of structural and mechanical systems.
Requirements
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (University/ETH)
* Up to 3 years of experience in aerospace or related industries
* Proficiency in FE analysis using MSC NASTRAN, Altair Hyperworks/Optistruct, or Abaqus & NX Siemens
* Experience in static and dynamic simulations and FEM modeling
* Basic programming knowledge (Python API) for simulation automation
* Strong analytical mindset and structured way of working
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Nice-to-Have
* Experience with composite or sandwich structures
* Knowledge of mechanical layout for aerospace components, mechanisms, or antennas
* Familiarity with vibro-acoustic simulations
