Overview of contract On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer. Start date: 01.10.2025 Duration: 12 months - with possibility of extension Location: Zurich Key Responsibilities: - Design and Development: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services. - Development: Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Optimize serverside performance and ensure data integrity and security. - System Integration: Work on integrating various financial systems and third-party services, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability. - Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). - Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the stack, providing support for both development and production environments. - Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
