Engagement Lead, Advisory, Office of the Inspector General – Global Fund Mission. The advisory practice of the OIG supports the Global Fund’s mission of ending AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics by generating ‘insight for impact’. The team helps the Global Fund address tough issues and new challenges, improve its ways of working to operate more efficiently, and seize opportunities to enhance its impact in fighting pandemics and building a healthier, more equitable world. (Defined Duration until December 2028)
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the Advisory Manager to successfully define, structure and implement strategic projects (e.g., operating model reviews, business improvement and transformation initiatives)
* Oversee assigned projects and handle major issues and hurdles, managing the entire project management lifecycle
* Guide the team in developing and refining options for decision making, recommendations and implementable action plans, with key owners/clients
* Perform assessments and analyses of various kinds; communicate them in an effective manner to clients and other stakeholders
* Present analyses and insights to clients through oral briefings and written reports
* Bring relevant expertise and best practice approaches to problem‑solving
* Apply best practice project management principles and facilitate change management among different stakeholder groups
* In conjunction with the Advisory Manager, develop a methodology, tools and training plans for the advisory practice
* Help the Advisory Manager identify potential targets for value‑add advisory reviews focused on improving effectiveness, efficiency, and economy
* Perform other duties as required to enable the advisory team to deliver successful advisories.
Qualifications
Essential:
* University degree within Business Administration, Economics, Global Health, or any other relevant field.
Desirable:
* PRINCE 2 Foundation, Practitioner or Agile certification (or equivalent).
Experience
Essential:
* Extensive experience in a management consulting firm and/or in a management consulting/strategy team within an international organization
* Project management and change management expertise with the ability to deliver impactful changes
* Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams of experienced professionals in a multi‑cultural setting
* Demonstrated experience managing and delivering on timelines with tight deadlines and across disciplines
* Evidence of effective and successful stakeholder management at operational and management levels within an organization
* Significant experience preparing high‑quality, professional documents for senior audiences
* Proven success in collaboration, teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Desirable:
* At least seven years’ top‑tier Strategy Consulting experience and/or experience in a management consulting/strategy team within an international organization - including experience in transformations, organizational effectiveness, operating model reviews and/or strategy projects
* Experience in international development
* Experience and knowledge related to public health, HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria
* Experience living and/or working in a country supported by the Global Fund

Languages
An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
Special travel requirements: The position may require travel during advisory assignments covering program and project sites in developing countries. Depending on specific assignments and time of the year, travel may be up to 20‑40% of the time.
