Tasks

1. Evaluate LLM outputs and prompt-output pairings across quality dimensions such as relevance, accuracy, and safety
2. Identify and design evaluation frameworks and metrics
3. Implement automated quality checks to flag problematic responses
4. Test how AI agents handle different scenarios: simple tasks, complex multi-step tasks, and error situations
5. Set up first versions of an end-to-end feedback pipeline to simplify evaluation of agentic AI use cases

Requirements
We are looking for a self-driven, highly motivated AI engineer to join our team in Basel. The successful candidate has a software engineering background with a desire to jump into the world of AI. We are offering an exciting opportunity to help introduce AI into one of our key applications.
6. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field (must have completed at least three semesters)
7. Very good spoken and written English skills
8. Curious about AI and interested in learning how to evaluate AI systems
9. Comfortable with C#, Python and analysing data
10. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
11. Good organizational skills with an attention to detail
12. Ability to work independently and ask questions when stuck
13. Enthusiasm for learning new tools and methodologies
