At the Health Department, we ensure access to safe and high-quality health services for the population of Solothurn. Our interdisciplinary team manages licensing and compliance in the health sector. We are seeking a Jurist/-in Aufsicht und Bewilligungswesen to join our team at the Solothurn location, either immediately or by mutual agreement.
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure the lawful and equal enforcement of licensing, operational, and approval processes, including legal groundwork for the department.
* Serve as the legal focal point of the Health Department and primary contact for all legal questions. Lead the Inspection and Licensing team.
* Review and decide independently on complex licensing applications from health professionals and institutions, enabling billing to the mandatory health insurance.
* Implement licensing restrictions for physicians in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in Solothurn.
* Handle regulatory issues coherently in cooperation with the Department of Internal Affairs' legal service, and conduct on-site inspections with the Chief Medical Officer and Pharmacist.
Your Profile
* University degree in law with substantial professional experience, ideally in health law. Knowledge of administrative procedural law is advantageous.
* Proactive, precise, and committed. You approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
* Team-oriented with appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration involving healthcare professionals, economists, politicians, and legal colleagues.
* Interest in scientific, social, and political issues in healthcare. Quick comprehension to recognize connections and develop practical solutions.
* Excellent written and spoken German, clear and precise communication. Ability to write understandable and audience-appropriate texts.
