**Senior R&D Structural Engineer Position Available**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior R&D Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our global network, you will be responsible for leading the development of new technologies and products in the field of structural engineering.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform finite element simulations of structures subject to various types of loads, including static and dynamic loads.
* Develop new automations for the structural, thermomechanical, and acoustic assessment of products.
* Run feasibility studies, develop new technical concepts, design new products, and simulate their expected performances.
* Organize prototyping and testing activities to validate new technologies/products.
* Lead product and technology development in the field of Dry, Traction, and Oil Distribution Transformer, delivering results on time and on budget at agreed scope and quality.
* Support the transfer of technology and knowledge from R&D to engineering department by writing design rules, preparing trainings, and collaborating with design tools team.
* Provide technical support to other departments when needed (engineering, product management, marketing, and sales).
**Requirements:**
* Ph.D./M.Sc. education in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering field.
* Several years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Engineering.
* Advanced knowledge of structures subject to seismic, fatigue, shock, and thermal loads.
* Experience in the finite element analysis and in the use of ANSYS Workbench suite.
* Knowledge of programming languages: MATLAB, Visual Basic, Python.
* Solid bases in vibrational fatigue and structures dynamic.
* Project management skills with an action and results-oriented mindset, coupled with innovative thinking.
* Excellent communication skills in English, robust team spirit, and willingness to travel.
