Activities
You will join IDS - Information and Digital Systems service unit - part of TOTSA, supporting TGP within Gas & Power IT.
This role involves managing and developing IT and Technology systems for TotalEnergies' power trading and energy management, including physical and short-term power trading systems, asset dispatch, and data services. You will contribute to a significant change program supporting the company's transition to power, demonstrating leadership in your domain.
You will report to the General Manager for Gas & Power Trading IT and manage a team of 30+ based mainly in Paris, Geneva, and Houston.

The European trading hub in Geneva consolidates large teams in trading activities, including TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP).
TGP focuses on low-carbon energies like gas, LNG, and power, operating in a dynamic market influenced by internal and external factors such as climate policies, energy mix changes, and new energy sources, aiming for Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
What you will do
* Manage 5-6 delivery teams responsible for system portfolios
* Ensure staffing, development, and resource management for both operational and project work
* Oversee service agreements with IT contractors
* Consolidate resource plans and monitor team performance
* Lead design and implementation of power trading systems, optimizing the system landscape
* Ensure system efficiency and integration
* Coordinate configuration and change requests from business stakeholders
* Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and provide system solutions
* Contribute to procurement and manage third-party suppliers
* Supervise projects within your scope and support related initiatives
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and audit standards, following best practices
* Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement
* Assist in strategy and budget planning for Gas & Power IT
* Collaborate with other IT/Technology teams within Trading IT
Candidate Profile
Your profile:
* At least 5 years managing multi-functional IT teams across multiple locations, with over 10 years in the energy sector
* Experience in IT management for utility, power trading, or energy management companies, with knowledge of trading environments
* Deep understanding of energy trading and management systems, including renewables, batteries, and thermal assets
* Desirable: experience in IT procurement, supplier management, ITIL, project management (PMI, Prince2), Agile, cloud, and database technologies; certifications are a plus
* Masters degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related fields
