Our schools offer a wide range of higher education programs (Diplomas, Bachelors, Masters, MBAs). Swiss Education Group is headquartered in Montreux. Swiss Education Group frequently publishes job offers within its schools in the areas of hospitality, cooking, teaching, and administration. In addition, there are regular vacancies at the company's head office in the areas of finance, marketing, human resources, and IT. Unsolicited applications are also taken into consideration. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operation Manager Assistant (m/f) to join our team at SHMS in Leysin. Responsibilities * To supervise on a daily basis the operation of all departments except academic. * Ensure a safe and suitable environment in which students can develop and progress in their academic programmes. * Ensure the coordination and smooth collaboration between the operations and the academic departments. * On a daily basis supervise all operational departments: Social Services, Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, House Management, Sports & Leisure, Rooms Division (Housekeeping and Reception Information Technology, Maintenance. * Approval of all schoool-related invoices and their control within FileMaker. * Coordinate main school events such as Check-in, Check-out, International day, Banquets and the operational part of the graduation. * Maintain the school's car fleet: maintenance, control, booking. * Responsible for the physical maintenance of the building. * Responsible for building projects, renovations and facilities. * Develop and assist in the development of policies and procedures for each department, controlling all and ensuring that they are implemented and respected. * Staffing: hiring, interviewing, dismissal and ongoing control of the duty roster/staff planning. Qualifications * Previous experience in an administrative or operational support role. * Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills in French and English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude. * Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
