ROLE OVERVIEW
As Group Finance Director, you will be the senior finance leader for ISFS SA and Advanced Resonance Kinetics SA (ARK), based at our Martigny headquarters. You will own the consolidated financial view across both entities, lead investor relations, and ensure the group has the financial infrastructure and visibility it needs to scale. You will oversee Swiss financial operations directly, and coordinate with our external experts. You will further be involved in financial modelling, valuation and other related matters regarding continued fundraise and tailoring the corporate structure.
This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the organization. You will be both a strategic partner within the Corporate Executive Team and a technically rigorous financial professional.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Strategy & Executive Leadership
* Partner directly with the CEO, the Commercial Director, and the Executive Leadership to develop and execute the group's financial strategy, aligned with R&D priorities and commercialization goals
* Serve as the financial advisor to the executive team on financial planning, investment, and long‑term capital allocation
* Build and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions, scenario planning, and valuation of IP‑based assets
* Establish KPIs and financial performance metrics to guide growth and resource allocation across the group
* Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial accounting process at group level
Funding & Investor Relations
* Actively support capital‑raising initiatives in collaboration with the CEO, the Commercial Director and strategic partners
* Build and maintain relationships with investors, funding agencies, and strategic partners
* Own all financial reporting to investors, including board packs, KPI dashboards, and ad‑hoc requests
* Manage and coordinate due diligence processes and represent the company in investor discussions
Finance & Administration & Consolidated Group Reporting
* Own the financial management of the Swiss holding and Swiss commercialization entities
* Oversee and coordinate for statutory accounts in compliance with Swiss GAAP, audit preparation, and tax compliance. Experience in IFRS would be an asset
* Manage treasury and cash flow across the group
* Manage all corporate administrative obligations such as statutory filings, company records, and correspondence with Swiss authorities regarding direct and indirect taxation, social security and mandatory insurances
* Oversee payroll administration in coordination with the HR Manager, including AHV/AVS, LPP/BVG pension fund management, and accident insurance
* Manage Swiss and Cantonal R&D Incentives, ensure maintained qualification, file claims and liaise with respective authorities
* Ensure the integrity and accuracy of group‑level financial data
Risk, Governance & Compliance
* Implement financial controls and governance frameworks to support scalability and compliance across the group
* Assure regulatory compliance in accepting investment through ISFS SA financing facilities
* Assess financial risks associated with R&D activities, IP development, and international operations
* Collaborate with the CLO and relevant stakeholders to integrate financial and IP protection strategies
* Ensure ethical stewardship of funds, particularly in research‑driven projects involving sensitive data
ERP & Systems
* Lead the selection and implementation of the group's ERP system in coordination with the EA
* Define reporting standards and chart of accounts across both entities
YOUR SKILLS
* Highly reliable with a professional, solution‑oriented and hands‑on approach
* Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
* Excellent internal and external communication skills
* Comfortable working in a security‑conscious environment with sensitive research data
* Experience with building and maintaining internal accounting as well as reporting functions
YOUR EDUCATION
* Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
* Swiss CPA or related diploma strongly preferred. MBA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification an asset
