Your Challenges
* Leading a team of engineers defining and tuning VAT’s mechatronic products
* Accountable for the system design including motorized products (Stepper, BLDC, servo motors) and pressure control
* Accountable for new feature development, customization and 2nd level support
* Definition of test systems for product verification and collaboration with the lab in measurement and control
* Ability to scale up PLC product development
* Drive engineering excellence by improving processes, tools and knowledge exchange
* Working in a cross-functional, multicultural and globally spread setup
Your Competencies
* University degree in mechatronics / electrical / systems engineering
* Experienced in leading successful development teams
* Multi years of knowledge in development of mechatronic systems such as drive technology, sensors, embedded software design
* Knowledge in Stepper-, BLDC- and Servo Drives, motion controller and control theory
* Knowledge of communication protocols (EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus)
* Fluent in English & German
