C# .NET Software Developer - 12 Month Contract - Switzerland - Home Office
Remote / Switzerland
We are currently supporting a leading organisation in the MedTech industry with a new contract opportunity. This client has offices in Zurich but can offer 3-4 working from home days per week. This role is initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
General conditions:
* Start Date: Mid November
* End Date: December 31st 2026
* Extension: Possible extension for a further 12 months
* Hourly Rate: To be discussed (depends on experience)
* Location: Remote (with the option to visit a Zurich team if preferred)
* Home Office: 3-4 days home office per week is OK
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET technologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
* Debug and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience with C# and .NET (Core or Framework).
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
* Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
* Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor) is a plus.
Nice to Have
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
* Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, etc.).
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
