The company offers industry leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles, such as Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection or Mapping & Cargo. As an Electrical Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the design, integration, and testing of flight control software for our unmanned helicopter systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are reliable, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. Your main tasks & duties System Design: Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, including power distribution, sensors, communication systems, and control electronics. Integration: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and control systems, ensuring seamless operation. Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components, including performance evaluations and troubleshooting of issues. Component Selection: Research and select appropriate electrical components and subsystems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards. Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test plans, to support development and regulatory requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers and systems engineers to ensure that electrical designs meet overall project objectives and requirements.
