About the Role
As a Mountain Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital part in ensuring the success of events. You will be responsible for managing logistics, including transportation and equipment rental. This role requires collaboration with event organizers, volunteers, and stakeholders to guarantee a seamless experience.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage preseason logistics, including stock management, material repair, testing, and development.
* Define needs for various materials and manage bookings for relevant events.
* Create branding concepts and obtain partner approval prior to events.
* Prepare and manage equipment for the 6 stops.
* Dispatch and organize a team of volunteers/mandates onsite, dispatching them across different mountain zones.
* Coordinate and supervise on-site material transport (by cable car, skidoo, Heli, Snow Cat).
* Set up FWT branding & signage, dismantle, and perform other operational tasks in the resort.
* Search for new branding & signage developments and coordinate with the account management team for implementation.
* Maintain the operation of the office.
The Ideal Candidate
* Prior operational & logistics experience working at sports events, ideally on an international basis.
* Fluent English and French (both spoken and written), Spanish and German are highly desirable.
* Good level in skiing or snowboarding.
* Good physical condition.
* Interest in sports and willingness to spend time outdoors.
* Autonomous, rigorous, assertive, and possessing a strong team spirit.
* Remains composed under pressure.
* Able to work well in a small team.
* Willingsness to travel extensively during the winter season.
* Recognizes and accepts that demands can be 24×7 during events.
