Marketing and Communication Manager (100%)
who shares our vision of fostering dynamic platform of exchange between entrepreneurs, innovators, scientists and investors, showcasing innovation in Switzerland in alignment with EPFL's esteemed global reputation.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing and communication strategy that aligns various programs and activities, providing clear positioning and enchanced visibility.
- Design and execute brand strategies, managing the brands owned and operated by the Foundation.
- Elevate brand awareness on Swiss, European, and global platforms.
- Ensure consistent communication across all Foundation initiatives and brands, adhering to a clear editorial line focused on excellence and thought leadership.
- Manage media relations and serve as the spokesperson for the Foundation.
- Clearly and transparently articulate the essence of our programs, emphasizing their strategies, positioning, operations, partnerships, and ecosystems.
- Expand our digital community and proactively enhance engagement.
- Leverage modern content creation and SEO tools to maximize the visibility and impact of our initiatives.
- Produce visual and written content tailored to various communication channels, ensuring relevance and quality.
- Define and monitor precise KPIs to assess campaign performance and optimize impact.
Profile:
- Master’s degree in communication or marketing, with proven expertise in branding and digital marketing.
- 10 years of experience as a marketing and communication manager, ideally 5 years of experience in a reputable communication agency, demonstrating leadership on at least two client accounts.
- Strong background in brand design and positioning, communication strategy, and managing and growing digital communities.
- Proven public speaking skills with experience in moderating discussions and facilitating exchanges.
- Experience with philanthropic fundraising campaigns is a plus.
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written; proficiency in German is an advantage.
- A hands-on, autonomous, and action-oriented professional.
- A positive, enthusiastic personality with a strong sense of organization, commitment, and responsibility.
