P p b JOB PURPOSE /b /p /p p The candidate will contribute to the efficiency of the Food sourcing activity in global markets by implementing strategic sourcing actions to reach optimization and improvement at all levels. /p p The Food Buyer will work with the team to researches, analyzes and forecasts current and future buying trends, markets, and products; and develop and maintain commercial relationships with suppliers to ensure satisfactory FB purchasing agreements reaching the best combination of quality, rates and services.br/ /p p p b KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES /b /p /p p • Sources Food products worldwide in line with expected target and in compliance with the company guidelines. /p p • Manages and builds appropriate commercial relationships with suppliers to develop strategic partnerships. /p p • Analyses suppliers’ quotations and bids, verifies products specifications and negotiates terms conditions. /p p • Evaluating market trends, proactively suggests innovative solutions and products and uses market research to strategically plan future purchases. /p p • Produces Analytics reports and maintains accurate records. /p p • Proactively works with Logistics and supply to achieve best possible procurement agreements. br/ /p p p b QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience) /b /p /p p • Previous experience in the role, minimum 3 years, ideally within the cruise sector. /p p • Experience in the Food sector and comprehensive understanding of Food strategic sourcing and market trends. /p p • Fluent English, any additional language is an advantage. /p p • Good Excel skills, knowledge of procurement e-platforms is an advantage. /p p • Degree in Economics, Gastronomic Sciences, Procurement Management, Business Management (master’s degree in food and beverage management is a plus). /p p • Excellent knowledge of computer systems (knowledge of CrunchTime is an advantage). /p p • Strong ability to analyze and interpret quotation data and logistics options. /p p • Very good negotiating and communication skills. /p p • Ability to work as part of a team. /p p •Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. /p p •Availability to travel.br/ /p p p b VISA REQUIREMENTS (if any) /b /p /p p EU Passport. /p br/ br/
