To drive the development of our strategic HR‑IT landscape, we are seeking an experienced and innovative SAP HCM & SuccessFactors Technical Expert (a) for the Hirslanden Corporate Office in Zurich Glattpark to strengthen our ICT team.
Do you want to actively shape the future of our strategic HR system landscape? In this role, you will be responsible for the technical design, configuration, integration, and ongoing development of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), as well as the connected HR system landscape.
You will ensure the stable, secure, and compliant operation of HR and payroll systems and take full technical responsibility for integrations, interfaces, and cross‑system processes. You will analyze business requirements, translate them into sustainable technical solutions, and oversee their end‑to‑end implementation—from design and testing to go‑live.
Additionally, you will actively drive continuous optimization of system architecture, automation of HR processes, and development of integration and release strategies. As a technical sparring partner, you will work closely with HR, Payroll, IT architecture, external implementation partners, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Act as a technical SME for SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP solutions
Design, build, and maintain integrations (SAP, middleware, APIs, file‑based interfaces)
Lead technical configuration, enhancements, and custom developments related to EC/ECP
Resolve complex technical and payroll‑related system issues and coordinate corrections
Ensure data integrity, system performance, and security compliance for HR/payroll integrations
Collaborate with functional HR/payroll teams and the HR Data Lake & Technical Application Teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Actively contribute to clinic integrations as well as centralization, automation, and standardization projects
Analyze, resolve, and sustainably address complex incidents in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Ensure compliance with defined system policies, security requirements, and standards across all clinics
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational manuals
Work closely with internal stakeholders (HR, application owners, clinics) and international IT teams
Profile
Completed technical education (technical college / university of applied sciences / university / ETH) or equivalent professional experience; degree in Business Informatics is an advantage
Strong HR process and IT knowledge
Solid experience with the technical architecture of SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP
Practical experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI, APIs, IDocs, and payroll system interfaces
Knowledge of payroll schemas, rules, and the Payroll Control Center (technical aspects)
Familiarity with SAP, middleware tools, and HR data models
Structured, independent, and reliable working style with strong service orientation
Enjoyment of collaboration, automation, and technical problem‑solving
Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of French is an advantage
