Our business unit Medical Solutions provides high-quality products to acute care customers for a better, cost-effective and safer patient treatment. The Medical Solutions business is a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative medical products, including for example brands like Kendall and Protexis.
We are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager Eastern Switzerland. This is a field-based role and reports to the Country Leader Medical Products Switzerland.
The key objective of the role is to create and implement strategies to deliver excellent sales execution in the area of responsibility. You will be accountable for achievement of sales objectives within a dedicated and dynamic market.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed sales targets by proactively identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in hospitals
Leverage an established hospital network to expand market share and secure new contracts
Act as a trusted advisor to clinical and administrative teams, ensuring optimal product usage and customer satisfaction
Lead negotiations and contract finalization independently and effectively
Deliver compelling product presentations and participate in relevant congresses and clinical workshops
Implement promotional action plans aligned with business objectives
Expertly manage opportunities and maintain accurate sales data in Salesforcecom; use insights to drive forecasting and pipeline success
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent service and timely issue resolution
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience, ideally in the medical device or healthcare sector
Strong record of closing deals and achieving or exceeding sales goals
Well-established network within hospitals in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Expert user of Salesforce.com, experienced in managing Opportunities and Pipeline tracking
Fluency in German, advanced English skills
Commercial or clinical/nursing apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree in nursing/science/business administration/ medical engineering
Patient and customer centric approach
Ability to think strategically and foster a culture for continuous improvement
Medical devices industry experience
At least two years’ experience in sales positions
Good IT skills (windows)
Willingness to travel
