The OESP (Office of Sanctions and Probation Enforcement) carries out the tasks assigned by the penal code to the enforcement authority and the probation authority. It prepares and makes administrative decisions relating to the application of criminal sanctions imposed on adult individuals. It ensures the monitoring and control of the implementation of decisions from a risk and resource management perspective, prevention of new offences, and support for (re)integration into society.
On behalf of our client the OESP, Spotted is looking for a
Head of the Sanctions and Probation Enforcement Office 100% (f/m/d)
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Leading a multidisciplinary team of around 25 employees
Implementing sentences according to the different regimes and supporting detainees, respecting the rules of conduct imposed on them
Creating a pleasant, stimulating work environment focused on collective performance Public interest mission
Active member of the management committee and contributing to defining the strategic direction of the service
Designing and supervising key processes, anticipating risks and ensuring the quality of administrative decisions
Developing strong partnerships both internally and externally
Administrative and financial management of the office
Your Profile:
Master’s degree (law, economics, criminology, sociology or other field) and solid experience in team leadership and managing complex activities
Understanding of the issues in criminal, administrative, judicial law or penal sanctions enforcement, and ability to translate these into concrete implications
Communication, analytical and decision-making skills
Leadership that inspires confidence. Ability to set a framework and bring people together
Comfortable in demanding (stressful) environments
Negotiation skills and representation of the institution with various partners
Proven writing skills
