What will you be doing?We are seeking an experienced and customer service driven Head of Business Control that will be responsible for the development and performance of all Business and Accounting Control in the Argentina Market Company and Own Dealers level, within Volvo Trucks and Buses Argentina. Will be responsible for supporting the management team in Argentina with information and analysis necessary to get a transparent and good view of the performance and business development in Volvo Trucks & Buses Sales, Aftermarket & Soft Products and Own Dealers, with responsibility for Volvo Trucks & Buses in Argentina. This position is also responsible to secure the sales process support as production planning, inventory management, inbound logistics, and trucks and buses delivery. This position will report to the Argentina Managing Director, being part of the Management Team and working very close to the VTLA (Volvo Trucks Latin America) headquarter Business Control team.Main responsibilities will be

* Contribute with members of the executive management team to drive and support business development through analysis and active involvement in operations, with specific focus on releasing the synergies within the Argentinean market.
* Support management and other stakeholders in decision-making with the overall purpose of deliver the vision and strategy while complying to Volvo Group financial procedures and policies.
* Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
* Build a top-notch finance and accounting team, providing leadership and direction, securing adequate resourcing to achieve the planned objectives.
* To be an inclusive and inspiring leader to attract, motivate, engage, develop, and retain talent.
* Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting both internal and external.
* Ensure revenues and expenses stay in balance, performing financial planning and analysis functions.
* Implement strategies and systems to improve financial performance. Review financial reports and determine methods to reduce costs.
* Identify and address potential financial risks for the company, perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
* Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.

Qualifications and competencies

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting is required.
* Master’s degree will be a plus.
* In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
* Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
* Senior experience in driving qualified business control matters.
* Senior experience as CFO or similar function in a global company.
* Good analytical and communication skills, integrity, creative personality, and comfort in independency.
* Experience of driving and developing cross-functional finance related processes.
* Strong in communication and networking. Ability to work both in teams as well as independently, in a flexible and multi-cultural environment.
* Strong people development, leadership, and performance management skills, including the capacity to build a high-performance culture.
* Demonstrates courageous managerial effectiveness and high personal integrity and accountability awareness.
* A savvy and robust executive with extensive ability to work independently, exercise sound business judgment and with a strong and timely decision-making approach.
* Must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple objectives and tasks, in a fast paced and demanding environment.
* Assertive negotiation skills, including proven capacity to deal with complex situations and ambiguity.
