About your role
As a Technical Product Manager, you will be fully accountable for taking products in our Consumer Wellness portfolio from concept through to production at speed and scale, with commercial discipline. Your core mission is simple but demanding, to turn commercial and marketing ambition into products that can actually be made, compliantly and profitably, across multiple international markets. You will own projects end‑to‑end by capturing business needs, translating them into clear technical and manufacturing briefs, and ensuring flawless execution through our external CDMO partners.
This is not a pure innovation or long‑term R&D role. Instead, it’s about expanding and optimising our existing Consumer Wellness brands, primarily through reformulation and adaptation driven by regulatory, manufacturing, and market‑specific requirements. Projects move fast, often under one year, and require a hands‑on, “make it happen” mindset. It will be a high‑impact execution role at the intersection of business ambition, marketing, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
* Own projects end to end from business brief to successful production
* Translate marketing and business requirements into clear, actionable technical and manufacturing specifications
* Drive execution through external CDMO partners (with manufacturing sites in Canada and India)
* Lead reformulations driven by regulatory differences across global markets
* Actively managing manufacturing constraints, MOQs, packaging solutions, COGS, and timelines
* Ensure speed to market without unnecessary technical or operational complexity
* Challenge over‑engineered or unrealistic marketing requests when needed, constructively and pragmatically
* Balance technical integrity with commercial and operational realities
* Evaluate trade‑offs across cost, features, resources, compliance, and time to market, ensuring decisions align with broader business strategy while remaining feasible and scalable
In addition, strong stakeholder management is essential. You will work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, Product, and external CDMO partners, often acting as the voice of technical and industrial reality.
This means you will:
* Provide clarity and direction when requirements are ambiguous or evolving
* Lead cross‑functional problem solving to unblock decisions and accelerate delivery
* Maintain commercial discipline while preserving strong working relationships
This position would suit a delivery‑focused candidate who thrives in fast‑paced environments and is motivated by impact. Your background might be in a CDMO or FMCG organization as a technical lead, or product development manager, especially with manufacturing transfer and scale‑up exposure. What matters most is your ability to bridge ambition and execution to deliver commercially sound results.
Qualifications & experience
* Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
* 10+ years’ experience in product design, technical development, and upscaling within Dietary Supplements or FMCG
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrialization requirements
* Experience managing and delivering through third‑party manufacturers
* Proven track record of launching products to market
* Cultural awareness and experience working across international markets
* Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment while delivering with accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong project, time, and priority management skills
* Comfort juggling multiple workstreams with a high degree of flexibility
The role concentrates on expansion outside of the US, including Europe, India, UAE, Singapore, and Australia. You’ll work frequently with teams in Canada and India, so some flexibility in working hours is expected. Travel is limited, aside from occasional manufacturing site visits (such as onboarding).
