Project Engineer – 6928 – ADA
Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is recruiting for a Project Engineer for a 1-year contract. This is an onsite role based in Visp, Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities:
Technical project management (60%):
* Planning and realization of small and middle-sized investment projects with direct impact on current production and/or business results.
* Process engineering calculations and plant optimizations.
* Feasibility studies of new plants and/or rebuilds of existing plants including cost estimation, scheduling and functionality.
* Planning, realization and support of production adjustments and product launches.
Concept development (20%):
Elaboration of possible technical solutions with evaluation of advantages and disadvantages.
Team coordination / Resource management (10%):
Procurement and organization of the necessary resources (internal or external) for the professional and timely execution of a project.
Optimization of processes and transfer of know-how (10%):
* Finding of optimizations in process flows as well as their implementation.
* Skills application and incorporation of professional knowledge in daily work.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
* Education: Technical college degree or university degree bachelor’s or master’s degree.
* Preferred area of study: Mechanical engineering, process technology, Bio- or chemical engineering.
* Experience: 3 – 10 year of work experience in GMP environment.
* Very good communication skills.
* Highly independent, structured and flexible working style.
* Excellent leadership skills in a matrix organization.
* Understanding of business and financial processes.
* Solution-oriented with structured working.
* Fluency in English and German are required.
