Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our Swiss team and contribute to high-tech projects in the medical field. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience programming automation systems, particularly Rockwell and / or Siemens PLCs, and is passionate about advancing life sciences through innovative engineering solutions.
Your Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and optimize automation solutions for systems used in Pharma, MedTech, Biotech, or Medical Devices
* Program and troubleshoot Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and / or Siemens PLCs and HMI systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, validation, and quality engineers
* Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of automated systems
* Maintain documentation in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
* Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiative
Your Profile
* Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, ideally in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, MedTech, or medical devices)
* Strong programming skills in Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and / or Siemens PLCs
* Experience in GMP-compliant environments and system validation is a strong asset
* Project management experience is a plus
* Knowledge of or interest in robotics is a plus
* Fluent in English, German and / or French is an advantage
* Willingness to travel within Switzerland for on-site project support
