For our customer, a leading pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are seeking a Global Workplace Demand & Data Analyst (m / f / d).
Global Capital Investment & Real Estate (CIRE) is responsible for providing an efficient, effective, and sustainable working environment for 45,000 employees worldwide. This includes identifying and securing suitable real estate solutions, developing workplace strategies, designing office layouts, constructing facilities, and managing capital expenditure across 106 countries. In the context of the post-COVID workplace, there has never been a more exciting time to shape the future of work environments. The Workplace & Data Strategist supports the Global Lead for Workplace Experience in delivering top-tier workplaces and experience strategies globally.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset with experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research to inform strategic decisions. The candidate should possess a few years of experience, a proven track record in workplace analytics, data science, and software engineering, and be fluent in English.
Tasks & Responsibilities :
* Deliver the real estate Demand Analysis process, ensuring our global real estate portfolio is appropriately sized to meet current and future business needs, including:
* Engaging with local stakeholders to gather necessary data
* Analyzing data to develop strategic recommendations based on sqm requirements
* Reviewing and presenting findings to local stakeholders
* Enhancing existing real estate management tools and data analysis processes
* Monitoring the performance of the Global Occupancy Dashboard to ensure continuous data collection and strategic insights
* Maintaining the Global Occupancy Dashboard technically, acting as a bridge between IT and the Workplace team
* Supporting local site users of the dashboard and liaising with global IT for data continuity
* Driving continuous improvement of global tools
* Owning the Global Portfolio Management Dashboard (Demand Analysis 3.0), reviewing data to identify real estate and workplace optimization opportunities, and developing dashboard improvements
* Leading workshops and communication with stakeholders to assess current strategies and outline next steps
Must Haves :
* Several years of experience with workplace analytics, data science, and a software engineering background
* Experience leading strategic real estate portfolio planning and aligning it with corporate objectives
* Ability to handle complexity with organizational and political acumen, building relationships with stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience engaging senior stakeholders
* Results-oriented, business-driven, organized, with attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into visual stories
* Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus
* Proficiency with Python, Streamlit, and Snowflake is required; experience with other technical tools is advantageous
