Flex Suisse is the leading provider of flexible staffing solutions in the Legal & Compliance sector in Switzerland, Germany, and Liechtenstein. For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the legal function of the holding company and its subsidiaries, with focus on corporate governance, financing rounds, reorganizations and commercial agreements
* Build and manage a lean in-house legal team, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation
* Support strategic transactions and licensing activities, liaising with the CEO's office and executive committee
* Provide hands-on legal advice on corporate law, compliance, contracts, and risk management, while coordinating with external counsel as needed
Experience:
* Swiss-qualified lawyer with bar admission and at least 8 years post-qualification experience in law firms and pharma/biotech companies
* Strong background in Swiss corporate housekeeping and financing; prior exposure to licensing agreements and life sciences regulatory law is a plus
* Proven leadership experience with ability to work under pressure, manage multiple stakeholders, and act as a strategic sparring partner to visionary entrepreneurs
* International exposure (particularly in biotech/pharma) and fluent in German and English; additional life sciences expertise highly valued
