Full Stack Developer
We are seeking a talented Python developer to join our team and contribute to the expansion of our CTRM platform. This is an exciting opportunity to interface directly with the business, drive requirements, and deliver a wide range of capabilities.
* You will be part of a global development team, taking ownership of desk-driven initiatives and re-architecting applications where necessary.
* As a member of the CTRM team, you will write modular, reusable components to liaise between external sources of data, internal tools, and databases.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of enterprise-level coding experience in Python, with a strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOA architectures. Experience building backend applications in Python is a must, and familiarity with containerization solutions like Docker is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of desk-driven initiatives and re-architecting applications where necessary
* Writing modular, reusable components to liaise between external sources of data, internal tools, and databases
* Maintaining the cleanliness and centrality of the Vitol Python codebase
* Porting legacy code to Python where appropriate
Requirements:
* 5+ years of enterprise-level coding experience in Python
* Experience building backend applications in Python is a must
* Familiarity with containerization solutions like Docker is an advantage
* Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOA architectures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
* University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field
* Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry is an advantage
* French language skills are an advantage
