Description
The National Training Manager will lead the development of a nationwide network of luxury appliance dealers, installers, and service technicians. This role will drive the creation of high-impact training programs, oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), and ensure technical professionals receive the knowledge and skills needed to deliver exceptional service. By combining course development, certification programs, and multi-modal training, the Training Manager will play a crucial role in strengthening service quality, improving technician expertise, and fostering high-end customer experiences.
Key Responsibilites
* Design, develop and deliver engaging, informative training programs on Middleby Residential brand products, repair techniques, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Leverage a variety of training methods, including hands-on classroom instruction, webinars, and e-Learning modules.
* Develop and maintain engaging training materials including student guides, presentation media, e-Learning modules, videos, and assessments.
* Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to trainees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Conduct skills assessments and evaluations to measure technician knowledge and competency.
* Collaborate with technical experts and product engineers to ensure training programs are accurate and reflect the latest product information.
* Work closely with internal teams, industry partners, and customers to identify training needs and opportunities.
* Oversee the implementation and management of our Learning Management System including management of content and administration of learner data.
* Plan and allocate resources effectively to maximize training impact and operational efficiency.
* Analyze training effectiveness using KPIs, surveys, and feedback to refine strategies.
* Travel throughout the U.S. to deliver training sessions at regional service centers.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in appliance repair or a related technical field.
* Proven experience developing and delivering effective technical training programs.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise language for diverse learners.
* Experience using technology to develop courses and train – webinars, e-Learning, video, AI content generators, etc.
* Experience working with a national service network or large organization is a plus.
* Ability to travel throughout North America (25% - 30%).
